Connect with CCL Canada the First Full Week in July

Canada Pipeline & Climate Advocacy

We are supposed to be taking a week off. Next week we will return with a significant development on the horizon: the potential acquisition of another pipeline by Canada and Alberta. As for who foots the bill, Smith said “detailed funding and the cost for taxpayers “remains to be negotiated.”

This is why we focus on federal policies on carbon pricing and climate-aligned finance. These policies are pivotal in shaping a sustainable future for Canada and ensuring that economic decisions align with our climate goals.

We also deeply appreciate the work of other advocacy groups.  Together, we are stronger when we recognize each other’s niche in the climate movement and celebrate each other’s efforts.

Cathy Orlando has put her words to work for the climate by getting letters and opinion pieces published in newspapers in every province in Canada. When she’s not safeguarding the climate alongside the best volunteers on the planet, you can probably find her stargazing, dancing, reading books not about climate change, hanging out with her husband Sanjiv, and mothering her three cherished daughters.
