CCL Canada’s April 2026 Report: A Season of Growth and Impact Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL) Canada has had a dynamic start to 2026, marked by increased advocacy, education, and impactful media engagement. This report highlights our achievements in media releases, open letters, educational initiatives, research, fundraising, and ongoing programs. All of this work has been building toward our June lobbying efforts, where we will put our momentum into action. Together, we’re proving that focused, organized collective action can create the political will for a liveable world. 2. Follow the Money to a Prosperous Future – Join Us in June! Why? Nearly 90% of Canadians want climate action, yet bad faith actors, backed by the fossil fuel industry, distort public opinion online, creating a false sense of opposition. Meanwhile, fossil fuel companies met with our government 986 times in 2025 alone. Our MPs need to hear your voice, loud and clear. What? This June, we are lobbying for federal policies that redirect finances away from fossil fuels and toward clean, affordable energy. We have the data, the experience (16 years of facilitating constituent-MP discussions!), and the momentum. Now, we need MPs to know their constituents demand this change. How? As a constituent, you have the right to speak with your MP, and we will guide you every step of the way. Whether you are new to advocacy or a seasoned activist, we will provide training, resources, and support to help you lobby effectively.
