Why are we doing this?

Why Are We Doing This?
We are raising the urgency of the climate crisis. Research shows that public mobilizations increase awareness and concern about climate change. Learn more here.

At a time of rising global anxiety—fueled by Trump, Musk, and other disruptive forces—we believe in the power of community, action, and even a little fun to bring hope and momentum.

Who should come?

Who Should Come?

👶 Babies and baby carriages, and everyone who wants to preserve a liveable planet for future generations.
🌍 A non-partisan, intergenerational event led by intergenerational groups, urging all federal parties and MPs to commit to credible climate action in the upcoming election and citizenry to vote for the climate.
🌿 Our goal: To build the political will to protect future generations and ensure a liveable planet.

One of the intentions of this event was to help others quickly create their own “Baby Carriage” Climate Events across Canada for the events happening circa Earth Day. We have made blank copies for you to work from.

Helpful advice

If you come across trolls or hostile fake media outlets, the best approach is to simply ignore them. Engaging only gives them more attention. Instead, quietly let others know to do the same. Stay focused on spreading accurate information and positive solutions! 😊
