OPEN LETTER: Do not publish a sustainable finance taxonomy that includes any fossil fuels

Thank you for your service to Canada. 

Do not publish a sustainable finance taxonomy that includes any fossil fuels. Canadian climate experts will condemn any taxonomy that green lights fossil fuels, especially LNG.

Citizens’ Climate Lobby Canada and our friends at For Our Grandchildren and the Children’s Climate Championship, urge the government to align the taxonomy with genuine climate solutions and exclude gas and LNG to prevent greenwashing and ensure investments truly support the energy transition and fight against climate change.
