CCL Canada’s June 2025 actions include launching the “Why I’m Lobbying” video campaign which will empower people to register for our October People’s Ministry of the Future conference. We are continuing to ask supporters to give monthly donations to CCL during the Mother’s Day to Father’s Day fundraiser. Our G7 at the Table initiative will also continue into summer. For outreach this month we ask our members to pronote and sign an e-parliamentary petition calling for stronger democratic safeguards. New laser talks have been released on carbon capture and sequestration and the need for methane emission regulations in the oil and gas sector.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
CCL Canada respectfully acknowledges that the work we support stretches across the homes of many First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples on Turtle Island and that their traditional knowledge must be significantly incorporated as part of meaningful action on the climate crisis. We acknowledge that they are traditional owners and custodians of this land and that for decades they have been the first line of defence against climate breakdown. Indigenous resistance has stopped at least 1.8 billion metric tonnes of greenhouse gas pollution on Turtle Island
